Our weekly draw takes place every Monday night. Tickets can be purchased online, in the shops, Post Office and pubs or by contacting a committee member. The jackpot for this week stands at €4,000. We have changed lotto provider for our online sales, further information can be found here.

Senior

The seniors had a great win over Drom & Inch in round 2 of the County Championship 1.24 to 1.19. We will now play Kilruane MacDonaghs in round 3 in 2 weeks’ time.

U17

On Monday night the u17s had an exciting 1-point win over Nenagh 2.17 to 2.16. We will play Newport in the Quarter Final on Monday August 19th in Ballina at 6.45pm.

5k Walk/Run + Derry Girls Take Dazzlers

As part of the Oskars fundraiser, the Derry Girls team are hosting a 5k fun run/walk on Saturday August 31st. This will be followed with a night of live music in Dazzlers Bar. See link below for further information.

Junior A

The Junior A team will be back in action this week. They will contest the semi-final on Friday against Roscrea in Moneygall at 6.45pm.

U13

In the North Championship Quarter Final draw the A team will play Kilruane on Tuesday in Moneygall at 6.45. On Wednesday the D team will play Nenagh in Nenagh at 6.45 in their quarter final.

Last Man Standing Fundraiser

U15

On Thursday the under 15s will play Ballinahinch/Templederry in the North Championship quarter final in Borrisoleigh at 6.45pm.

U19

Our U19s saw off Moneygall / Clonakenny 3.24 to 2.15 last week. On Wednesday Silvermines will be the opponents in Toome at 7.30pm.

Junior B

The B team had a good day out on Sunday morning following a 1.12 to 0.12 win over Lorrha. They will face Kiladangan on Saturday at 7.30pm in Toomevara in the final group game.

Congratulations

A huge congratulations to Jill-Anne Quirke and the Tipperary Junior camogie team on their one point victory over Laois yesterday in the All-Ireland final played in Croke Park. 

Club Facilities 

In recent weeks you may have noticed many of our club members volunteer their time and expertise to help enhance our facilities and keep it clean and tidy. These improvements will benefit all ages that visit, support, walk, train and play in Toomevara GAA & camogie club fields. Littering of the ball alley and around the grounds continues to be a problem. Please use and encourage others to use the bins provided to avoid this problem.

Condolences

The club wish to offer our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Ian McCarthy, Roscrea. Ian is a nephew of Joe McCarthy, Ballinalick and first cousin of senior players Mark and Josh. May he Rest in Peace.

Oskars Launch Night

Last Thursday evening in the Abbey Court we officially launched our Oskars fundraiser. In attendance were our main sponsors Richie & Mary Casey from Caseys Centra Toomevara, along with some of the organising committee and members of the various cast that will feature in the movies.
