Last Thursday evening in the Abbey Court Hotel, Toomevara GAA and Camogie Club officially launched our joint fundraiser 'Toomevara Goes to the Oskars'.
In attendance were our main sponsors Richie and Mary Casey from Caseys Centra Toomevara, along with members of the organising committee and some of the talented cast that will feature in the movies.
Rehearsals are now in full flow, and some movies are even post production. This fundraiser has created a fantastic atmosphere in the parish.
