Following a number of safety concerns raised with the club in recent times, a decision has been made to introduce a parking-free zone on the bank area , by the ball alley and back dressing rooms.
Two safety bollards will be installed on Thursday at the entrance close to the front toilets/ old shop area, preventing vehicle access.
All members and visitors are asked to park at the front of the premises or in the designated parking areas along the road adjacent to, and in front of, the entrance.
This measure will be introduced on a trial basis and will be reviewed. On certain occasions, such as match days where adequate stewards are available, the bollards may be lowered to allow controlled access. This will only take place where sufficient personnel are present to ensure the safety of all pedestrians at all times.
We appreciate that this represents a change to normal routines and kindly ask for your cooperation and support in helping to create a safer environment for everyone.
