Club Lotto: Our weekly draw takes place every Monday night. Tickets can be purchased online, in the shops, the Post Office, and pubs, or by contacting a committee member. The jackpot for this week stands at €4,300.
AGM: Our club AGM will take place on Friday, November 28th in the clubhouse at 7pm. We would urge as many members to attend as possible and have your say on the day.
U21: Our U21 hurlers have been drawn to face Borris-Ileigh in the North U21A Hurling Championship semi-final on Sunday, November 30th. The game will take place in Borris-Ileigh at 12 noon, while Ballina travel to Dolla to face Silvermines in the other semi-final at the same time.
Volunteer Appreciation: A sincere thank you to our hardworking volunteers who spent last Saturday taking down the fence around the main field. Club members Noel Daly, Eamon Harnett, Declan Kelly, Bill Duff, Tom Kennedy, Terry Dunne, Andrew Ryan, and Bernard Hackett, along with our two juvenile members, Paddy Daly and Darragh Kelly, generously offered their time and expertise to ensure the work was completed safely and efficiently.
The Club would also like to acknowledge the efforts of past members who were involved in erecting the original fence. Having served us well for over 25 years, it stands as a testament to the dedication and community spirit of those who came before us.
Yesterday marked an exciting milestone for the Club. In the coming weeks, we look forward to the installation of the new main-field fence, as well as the addition of lights on the back field. These developments represent important progress for our facilities and our future.
As always, such improvements are only possible through the generosity, commitment, and continued support of our loyal members and supporters. Thank you for helping us move the Club forward.
Well Done: Congratulations to Theo Dunne and Charlie Hackett, who were part of the North Tipperary U14 hurling panel that won the Peader Cummins Cup final with a 3-10 to 2-5 victory over Mid Tipp in Coolmore Morris Park on Saturday morning last.
Quid Games: Darragh McCarthy will be taking part in Tipperary GAA’s latest fundraiser to raise money for Tipperary GAA and Toomevara GAA, respectively. He will be amongst a host of personalities who will take part in the initiative, with all participants required to raise €3,000 to take part.
Darragh has given us some brilliant days this year so any help to get the money raised would be a nice way for members to repay him.
To do so, you can click the following link to donate or by visiting our social media pages where a QR code will send you to the right place. As stated already, some of the money raised will go back to our club, so please help out if you can.
