Club Lotto: Our weekly draw takes place every Monday night. Tickets can be purchased online, in the shops, the Post Office, and pubs, or by contacting a committee member. The jackpot for this week stands at €3,500.
Senior: Hard luck to our senior hurlers who lost out to Loughmore Castleiney in last Saturday’s quarter-final in Thurles. The lads never got going and the performance wasn’t a true reflection of the quality in the team. Thank you to the players and management for their commitment all year. Huge work was put in over the nine months and we have no doubt that they will bounce back in 2026.
Underage: Our U15 hurlers still await full confirmation of their county semi-final fixture against Cashel King Cormacs. The game is down to be played on Saturday, October 11th with a time and date yet to be verified.
Congratulations: A mighty congratulations to Darragh McCarthy who has been nominated for an All-Star and the Young Hurler of the Year accolade for his performances with Tipperary this year. This is much-deserved recognition for Darragh, and we wish him the very best of luck at the award ceremony, which takes place in early November.
Track & Tone: Toomevara GAA Club is delighted to host a new six-week block of jogging/walking and Pilates classes for adults as part of the Irish Life GAA Healthy Clubs initiative. This is a Toomevara GAA funded initiative so we encourage all our members to make the most of the event.
The programme begins on Monday, 6th October 2025, with sessions running at:
- 6:30pm – Beginners
- 7:00pm – Intermediate
