With matches on almost every night and training still going on let me take a moment to thank the team who look after the field and facilities.
A number of players from other clubs have noted their appreciation at the standard of the field. In recent weeks we have spread the fertiliser on the main field in line with recomendations of Padhraic Greene. 
Thanks to Michael Haverty, Pat Haverty and John Ryan for the cutting of the fields which is required several times a week at present.
Special thanks to Mike Fitzgerald for the lining of the field and Matt Ryan for ensuring the dresssing rooms are ready for the teams. Thanks to Millie Shanahan for keeping the clubhouse clean and presentable for the referees and others who use it.
We are nearing the tender stage for the upgrade of our new external lights in the back field and we have new signs for the front entrance through the work of Mairead O Neill and the Gaeilge Sub Committee.
Thanks to Pat Hennessey who ensures that all is locked up every night and at this time of year it could be very late indeed.
We also have scoreboard operators Eamon Hartnett and Patsy Hanley and those who steward at matches such as Pat Ryan, Paddy O Brien, Pat McCormack, Tommy Dunne.
Thanks to the volunteers who sell Lotto tickets at matches such as Dick Quirke, Julia Haverty, Josephine Doran, Deirdre Slevin and Denise Hayes.
Our Club is a family of hard working volunteers and all are critical to the success of the club.
