Tipperary
We had a brilliant week in the club with several of our members involved in successful Tipperary teams.

Firstly, congratulations to players Darragh McCarthy and Jake Hackett who were a part of the Tipperary U20 hurling panel who won the Munster title last Wednesday evening in Limerick.
Also, well done to Jackie Meagher who was a part of the backroom team.

Finally, another hearty congratulations to Darragh McCarthy who played a key role in Tipperary’s senior hurlers defeating Waterford last Sunday in Thurles, scoring 0-11 in the win and having a brilliant win.
A brilliant week for Darragh who has bounced back in a really mature way after the disappointment of the Cork senior game recently. Congratulations also to team coach Mikey Bevans on the work he has done with this group of players this year. Well done, lads.

Junior A
Our Junior A hurlers defeated Borris-Ileigh in the final group game of the North Junior A Hurling League last Friday evening. This win has qualified the team for the final which will be fixed in the coming days.

Junior B
Our Junior B hurlers will face Portroe on Tuesday, May 20th in their second round tie of the North Junior B Hurling League, before hosting Templederry Kenyons in the third round on Saturday. Both games will take place in Toomevara. See fixtures for full details.

Golf Classic
Our annual golf classic is back for 2025 and we are now taking on teams and sponsors for the event. Entry for a team of four to participate in our Annual GAA Golf Classic at Nenagh Golf Club on Friday the 30th of May.
Price: €200 per team. Includes Green fees, a sit down meal in the restaurant and many great prize opportunities.
Also, if you would like to support our Annual GAA Golf Classic by sponsoring a Tee Box, you can do so for €50, have your individual name, or company name proudly displayed on the day at Nenagh Golf Course. It's a great way to gain visibility while supporting the club with its day to day running costs. Join through ClubZap or check out our social media channels.
Michael Berkery of FBD with Melissa from the FBD Nenagh Office attended the launch of this year's Golf classic last night in the Clubhouse.
After being welcomed and sponsorship acknowledged by the Chairperson, Denise Haverty, Michael went on to highlight the long standing links between FBD and the Toomevara Community. He pointed out the significant sponsorship over 20 years of the Golf Classic by FBD. He acknowledged the phenomenal work of the many volunteers at every level of the club and wished the senior management and team all the best for the year ahead.
FBD are proud of their links to FBD Semple Stadium but the 'community' nature of their business is also seen in the sponsorships of events such as the Toomevara Classic.
Michael remembered the initial sponsorship commitment with Seamus Delaney and Donal Shanahan and encouraged all to use the classic as a way of providing the funds required to keep the club moving forward from Nursery Groups to Senior teams.

Split the Bucket
This week's winner of Split the Bucket is Tom Delaney. Congratulations Tom. Many thanks to everyone for your support,  tickets for the coming week will be available at all training sessions throughout the week.
