Michael Berkery of FBD with Melissa from the FBD Nenagh Office attended the launch of this year's Golf classic last night in the Clubhouse.
After being welcomed and sponsorship acknowledged by the Chairperson, Denise Haverty, Michael went on to highlight the long standing links between FBD and the Toomevara Community. He pointed out the signifcant sponsorship over 20 years of the Golf Classic by FBD. He acknowledged the phenomonal work of the many volunteers at every level of the club and wished the senior management and team all the best for the year ahead.
FBD are proud of their links to FBD Semple Stadium but the 'community' nature of their business is also seen in the sponsorships of events such as the Toomevara Classic.
Michael remembered the initial sponsorship committment with Seamus Delaney and Donal Shanahan and encouraged all to use the classic as a way of providing the funds required to keep the club moving forward from Nursery Groups to Senior teams.
