Oskars 2024
There was a fantastic night had on Saturday where TedFest took place in The Shop Gurtagarry. There was a great turnout, where we were treated to a bit of Trad from our Scór instrumental group, a DJ, food, a raffle and even the filming of the final Fr Ted scene. Thanks to Lyndsey Dunne and her Fr Ted team who organised a great night out. A thank you to all who generously supported the event. Keep an eye out for our next movie fundraiser.

County Minors
A massive congratulations to Austin Duff, Billy O’Brien, Patrick Hackett, selector Willie Ryan and the Tipp minor players and management on claiming the All-Ireland minor title on Saturday. In what will surely go down as one of the greatest team performances of all time, the players battled with two men short for most of the match and extra time before finally seeing off Kilkenny.

Medal Presentation
Our medal presentation took place on Sunday evening in the Clubhouse. The U13 football plate team, U15 Football plate team, U17 County Football League team and the U19 North hurling team all received their medals. A thank you to Darragh McCarthy and Mikie Bevans for presenting the medals. There was also a special presentation of beautiful pictures to the Harty Cup members of the club from their successful campaign. Thanks to Denise, Patsy, Bernard and all who helped organise everything.

We played out an exciting draw with Newport last Monday in the first round of the North Championship, 0.21 to 1.18. Borrisoleigh host us this evening at 7.30 in the next round.

Our Under 15s defeated Burgess on Thursday 3.15 to 2.10. This Thursday Borrisokane will be the opposition in Borrisokane at 7.30.

Junior B
The Junior B championship will commence this Saturday away to Lorrha at 7.30.

Our A team came up short against Moneygall last week 2.6 to 3.10. The B team match was postponed in Borrisoleigh.
