Toomevara were honoured to host the Regional Feile na nGael Finals today.
After a very entertaining group stages and Quarter Finals it was Toomevara v Clonmel Óg in semi final 1, while Charleville and Banner went toe to toe in the other.
Toome and Charleville were successful and would contest the final. After a cracking game Charleville snuck it 0.8 to 0.7
There were lots of food and refreshments provided by our wonderful volunteers. It was great to be able to show the All Ireland Quarter Finals on the TV in the Clubhouse.
A big thank you to everyone involved in organising the day. It was a great success and highly entertaining. A thank you to the players, management and supporters of Banner, Clonmel Og, St Kierans, Charleville and Abbeyknockmoy who also added to the wonderful atmosphere throughout the day.
Well done to our U15 players and management who played some lovely hurling throughout the competition and fought until the bitter end in the final.
Congratulations to Charleville on a fine win.
Our Juvenile Chairperson Bernard Hackett presented the Cup to the winning captain.
