Our weekly draw takes place every Monday night. Tickets can be purchased online, in the shops, Post Office and pubs or by contacting a committee member. The jackpot for this week stands at €3,200.

Nursery Group
Our Nursery Group is back in action every Saturday at 10am. All boys and girls aged 4 to 5 years old are welcome.

The senior’s North Championship campaign will begin on Sunday at 3.00 against Roscrea in Nenagh. Best of luck to all players and management. The draw for the fixtures were completed for the County Championship where we will play Borris-Ileigh in round 1.

Junior A

The A team played Kiladangan in round 2 of the championship and lost 2.20 to 0.17. They will now take on Ballinahinch on Friday at 7.30 in Puckane.

Oskars 2024

Our main club fundraiser for the year is now in full swing. Some of our movies have already commenced filming. There will be various events taking place over the coming months. TedFest will be on in The Shop Gurtagarry on Saturday June 29th at 8pm. Join us for a night of craic and ceili. Dress as your favourite Fr Ted character and be part of the Toomevara GAA Oskars. Tickets are €10. The QR code is on our social media pages as well as on Sale in the Pharmacy and The Zip Yard. The U13s are playing Roscrea in Toomevara on Tuesday 17/6. The D team are at 7pm and the A team are playing at 8pm. On the following Tuesday both teams are playing away. The D team are in Borris-Ileigh at 7pm while the A team are in Moneygall at 7.30.

The U17s will play Newport in Toomevara on Monday June 24th at 7.30 in round 1 of the North Championship.

If you are shopping in Tesco Nenagh over the coming weeks,we would appreciate if you could pick up your blue token and pop it into the Toomevara GAA slot by the door. Every blue token selected for Toomevara GAA is a donation from Tesco to the club.

 

It was a prosperous couple of days for the schools of the parish as Toomevara, Ballinree and Gurtagarry all picked up County Final wins last week in Semple Stadium. Congratulations to all the players, teachers, and coaches on a fantastic achievement. 

A massive congratulations to Patrick Hackett, Billy O’Brien, Austin Duff, Willie Ryan and the Tipperary Minors on reaching the All-Ireland Final following an extra time win against Galway on Saturday. They will play Kilkenny in the final with the details to be confirmed.

The club wish to offer our sincere sympathies to Phil Devaney and the Devaney family on the passing of her brother Stiofáin.May he Rest in Peace.
