Club Lotto
Our weekly draw takes place every Monday night. Tickets can be purchased online, in the shops, Post Office and pubs or by contacting a committee member. The jackpot for this week stands at €3,000.
Golf Classic
Our Annual Golf Classic was held on Friday in Nenagh Golf Course. As usual this was well supported with many teams entered and tee boxes sponsored, we thank you for this. Congratulations to all our winners on the day. Thank you to our main sponsors FBD. A word of thanks must also go to Barry Dunne, Gary Delaney and all the Golf Committee who ran a great event and day out for all.
Celtic Challenge
Commiserations to Billy O’Brien and Darragh Hayes who were part of the Tipperary Celtic Challenge team that lost out to Kilkenny on Sunday afternoon in the All-Ireland Final inNowlan Park.
Nursery Group
Our Nursery Group is back in action every Saturday at 10am. All boys and girls aged 4 to 5 years old are welcome.
Kieran Delaney Memorial Tournament
Saturday afternoon with the sun shining high in the sky the Kieran Delaney Memorial tournament kicked off for the first time. Toomevara played Clonoulty while at the same time Upperchurch took on Monaleen. Clonoulty and Upperchurchwould win the respective semi-finals and play each other in the final. Clonoulty came out on top by 1 point in the final. Danny Slattery received the player of the tournament award. It was a successful day, enjoyed by all. Thank you to Joe Hayes and the organising committee as well as all the many helpers in the kitchens serving out the refreshments throughout the day. A special word of thanks to those who financially donated towards refreshments and the running of the tournament.
Junior A
Hard luck to our Junior A’s who were defeated by Kiladanganin the League Final on Friday 2.11 to 1.10 in Portroe. The focus quickly switches to Friday as the championship commences with a match against Nenagh in Borrisoleigh at 7.30.
Tipp U20s
Commiserations to Darragh McCarthy, Jackie Meagher and the Tipp 20s who came up just short against Offaly on Saturday in Kilkenny in the All-Ireland U20 Final.
